Township Trustees

Township Trustees may be able to provide minimal financial assistance in some cases. View the list to find your township’s trustee.

Community Food Bank

Located next to the St. Vincent de Paul drop box, the Community Food Bank provides food to residents of Dubois County. Assistance is based on income level. Goods are provided on a per household basis twice monthly.

Programs

Energy Assistance Program – Provides outreach, application services, and fuel/utility assistance to eligible clients.  The winter program assists with heating, and the summer with cooling and bulk fuel.

Foreclosure Prevention Services – Assists homeowners that are struggling to make monthly mortgage payments. Assistance is provided to any resident of the state at no cost to the client by a certified counselor.

Healthy Families – Offers services including support, information, and referrals in the areas of Child Development, Prenatal Care, Nutrition,Child Care, Education, Goal Setting, and Employment.  Free to qualifying county residents, this service is funded from the Indiana Family and Social Service Administration.  May provide diapers as well as other needs of small children.

 Matrix Lifeline

Matrix Lifeline provides counseling and information about an unexpected pregancy and the choices that are available. Assistance with diapers, baby items and Maternity Clothing is available by appointment.

Dubois County Community Meals

Free to anyone, meals are held in the Ozanam Hall located across the parking lot from Community Food Bank. Come share fellowship with other families in need.  Meals are varied and provided by volunteers in our community.
